Photo of the Month September
Sunrise over Medlands Beach from Medlands Rock, Great Barrier Island
I intentionally did no research for this trip as I wanted experience the Barrier with no prior knowledge of what may be in store, to keep me surprised. This wild wonderland is a landscape photographers idea of paradise and I literally couldn’t stop shooting. It seems to offer more scenic variety in a tight space, than anywhere else I can ever remember experiencing.🥳
Bodhi (my younger brother) and I made our way up the goat track of Medlands Rock, on this dark, cold and wet morning. Equipped with my weighty kit and whatever we could find in the house to make what might be the best coffee on the Barrier (with the help of freshly roasted beans from Excelso Coffee from the mainland).👍🏾
Seconds before the sun rose, it was spitting with rain, which made witnessing this unfolding scene all the more special (with a warm fragrant coffee in one hand and my cable release other).☺️

Totally contemporary, Metal Prints have vibrant, high definition colours that have superior moisture and stain resistant properties. They are made out of specially-made Aluminium which gives it that sleek, sophisticated contemporary feel. A stunning choice for all types of images with its Gloss finish, images are digitally printed using dye sublimation technology directly to a 1mm thin metal slate to give it that sharp image reproduction. Because it’s made out of metal, it has a much heavier and sturdier tribute, placing it in a class of its own.

This photo is only one of five ever printed, so get in quick if you want this thing adorning your walls.
